Moeller basketball coach Carl Kremer discusses the undefeated Crusaders - a podcast by WCPO

The Moeller basketball team has won 36 consecutive games and is the area favorite to reach Columbus in March. Each season is a new journey, but the Crusaders are certainly hoping history repeats at the state tournament after winning the title in 2018.

Moeller coach Carl Kremer joined the WCPO High School Insider Podcast Wednesday afternoon to discuss the Crusaders (16-0). Kremer also discussed University of Texas standout freshman and potential NBA Draft lottery pick Jaxson Hayes, who helped the Crusaders to the Division I state title in 2018.

Also, Batavia boys’ basketball coach Aaron Brose discusses a special fundraiser the Bulldogs are hosting Friday night for senior captain Nate Watson, who has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

The Batavia Athletic Department is organizing the “Win for Watson Night” with the hopes to provide his family some relief from medical expenses as well as have an outlet for the community to show support for Nate and all others fighting the battle against all forms of cancer.
