Here we are – 2017!
Do you actually believe you will be better off this year than you were last? Do you believe that this year, you will finally keep that resolution? Or do you believe that nothing will change and that you’re doomed to the same uninspiring cycle you’ve been in for most of your life?
Either way, you are right. Either way, the key word is belief.
But when examining our beliefs whether individually or en masse, we must come to the realization that a belief in anything is not an idea that organically popped up out of the soil. Beliefs, all of them had to be at some point planted…by another: a parent, teacher, peer, etc.
Once a belief is accepted, it becomes a reality – for you.
This is what Seth was speaking of when he said “You create your own reality.” …by our thoughts, our ideas, typically originating as beliefs.
Now, in this New (One) Year of 2017 which in numerological terms is said to be of a vibration of new beginnings, we have the opportunity to examine the beliefs that have held us back, but before doing so, we must dig beneath the surface and find out where the root of those beliefs lie.
Let’s do just that in this, my first Conscious Commentary episode of the year – 2017: Digging up the weeds!
