The second album by the ground breaking group Paul's Boutique didn't perform as well as any of their other albums but has made the biggest impact. People are still influenced by the production and lyricism today. Beastie Boys are known as influencers across many genres of music, from Eminem to Rage Against The Machine and many others. Many artist have called them an influence and they have influenced many many more who they will never get mentioned by. The amount of records they sampled on this album are above 100 records, and miraculously they were able to clear them all from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, James Brown and beyond for a much lower price than you could dream of today.
