Welcome back to season four of Hip Hop History by Drew Curry. This week we are talking about the second of four pillars, this week we are talking about the art of graffiti. Graffiti has always been seen as destructive and evasive to the government. Graffiti has always been seen as art, culture and expressive to those who really know. Graffiti may have been seen as something that needed to be eradicated, but that's the great thing about graffiti, they could never fully erase if from the cities it is prevalent in. Now cities have special areas where its permitted, have competitions and celebrate it much more than it ever was. Hip Hop is beautiful, every single part of it. These four pillars come together like Vultron to create art that is seen, felt and heard all over the world. Thank you to the architects who made everything we see today possible. You changed the world. Thank you for making it a better, more beautiful and creative place. We needed you, and you did it. Thank you. And thank you for listening to this episode of hip hop history, please like, subscribe and leave a review where you can. Thank you and have a great day.
