Ted Suihkonen - a podcast by Hockeys Arsenal

On this episode of the Hockey IQ podcast we sit down with Ted Suihkonen. Ted coaches for HC Lokomotiv in Russia as a professional skills coach & consultant. Ted has an interesting journey that started in Minnesota, led to stops in Alaska, Norway and Sweden, and has landed him in Yaroslaval, Russia.

Ted is an innovator on the forefront of Hockey IQ being integrated into ice hockey training. A few areas on this episode we discuss:
- Differences between Europe and North America
- Allowing chaos in practice and empowering players to find solutions
- Using video in training for players to visualize themselves
- Studying history to become a better coach
- The importance of players having a journal
