This morning Ros spoke from Acts 23:14-19.

James then led the time of prayer, praying that:• We would know God's presence with us, whatever situation we are in at the moment. We asked the Holy Spirit to bring to mind times in our lives when God has provided for us as He provided for Paul and we gave thanks for these things.
 • We then prayed to God for situations in our lives or the lives of those close to us where there is persecution or challenge and where we really need the provision of breakthrough. We prayed for breakthrough in these areas.

• Finally, we prayed for the persecuted church around the world, our brothers and sisters in Christ, in particular those facing high or extreme levels of persecution for their faith, that they would know God's presence, his closeness and his protection over them.
