In this episode, Dr Tiffany Johnson shares her research into equity and inclusion in the workplace. What are the essential ingredients for innovation and equity? She discusses how we can more mindfully approach our work and how yoga has helped her with burn out + worthiness.

  • Dr. Tiffany Johnson is a work and wellness researcher, writer, and teacher. She certified to teach stillness and movement based yoga (RYT 200), meditation under the guidance of Octavia Raheem, Meryl Arnett at Sacred Chill {West}. She also is certified to teach Empowered Wisdom Yoga Nidra and Accessible Yoga . She is devoted to embodied tools because they consistently (re)connect her to whole self...and she's passionate about sharing these practices with workers all over, with a special place in her heart for workers in non-profits, academia, and small businesses.
    Tiffany teaches Organizational Behavior at a university in Atlanta and she does research related to work(places), equity, and wellness. Her work has been published in major management outlets and she translates her research to the public by consulting organizations on work and wellness related topics, and leading retreats for women of color in academia.
    Last, but certainly not least, she is the founder of The Institute for Good Work, an organization that offers subsidized support to Black and Brown members of academia and non-profit organizations to do their work in ways that keep them healthy, whole, and free from burnout.
