In the beginning of this week an old companion visited me: my Angst. As a spiritual student I have the ability to separate. I do feel the feelings, but I don’t believe them. Anyhow – I was not able to come out of it. I don’t have to, though, but I definitely did not want to take the next step and go into suffering. So what did I do? I did this podcast episode and interviewed my dearest Suze Retera, who is not only a yoga teacher and psychologist, but also a Trauma-Expert. Okay. The truth is: It was just in the beginning an interview and turned into a very personal conversation where I talked about my current fear and Suze valuably helped me with explaining how Trauma makes it way through the body, why we cannot heal by only doing self-reflection and conversation and which opportunities we have to overcome fear and how that leads to a deeper sense of happiness. My Angst, my old friend, is gone, but what stayed is this extremely interesting conversation and I hope you enjoy it and maybe it also helps you as much, as it did for me.
