Does working as hair&make-up artist in the film industry appeal to you? Do you want to learn on what it takes to get into it? If yes, then my interview with Catherine Heys is going to be essential listening for you. Throughout this episode today we're delving deep into all the things you really need to know about when it comes to working in this side of the industry as a hair&make-up artist.

With over 20 years experience as a hair and make-up artist, Catherine was born into a family of film makers (her mum is a hair&make-up artist and step dad and brother working in the camera department) and has only ever wanted to go into the film industry. Working on movie blockbusters such as the Harry Potter series, Kingsman, Saving Private Ryan and Solo: A Star Wars Story, Catherine is a seasoned pro when it comes to working in the film industry, so who better to talk too on this subject than herself.

Travelled the world and worked 80 hour weeks, Catherine has stood in mud, worked in blizzards, and survived the harsh heat of desserts – it would be fair to say that it's not an easy industry to work in, but one that brings so many amazing opportunities.

I know you're going to love hearing Catherine's story as she will share with you all the highs and lows to working in this demanding, but, hugely rewarding industry. Let's jump straight in!
