Professor Erte Xiao obtained her Ph.D. from George Mason University, USA, in 2006. She currently works as a professor at the Department of Economics at Monash University, Australia. Her research interests pertain to the application of experimental methods to understand how incentives and social norms influence economic behavior. Prior to her association with Monash University, Prof. Xiao worked as an Assistant Professor at Carnegie Mellon University. She also worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania from 2006 to 2008.
