TNG and DS9 Visual Artist Dies at 60.

We’ve lost a lot of members of the Star Trek family over the
past year, and it’s always sad. In many cases, we’ve lost those who
worked on The Original Series, which is understandable as we’re now
in the 50th year since that show premiered. But when we lose those
who are much younger, it’s especially sad. And that’s the case with
the latest loss, Gary Hutzel, who has passed away at the young age
of 60. He died of an apparent heart attack, according to Hollywood
Reporter. We look back at his contributions to Star Trek.
