In this episode we speak with Andrew Tusubira, a Doris Duke International Clinical Research fellow, and Temitope Ojo, a doctoral student in Epidemiology at NYU GPH. We speak with them about noncommunicable disease (NCD) research in sub-saharan Africa and their experience conducting qualitative and mixed methods research. They explain how the health system in Uganda works and the challenges that exist with conducting research in complex settings.
