from 2019-02-05T07:33:29
In today's show, I interview Tracey Adlai of The Valley Film Festival in Los Angeles, CA. Tracey is the Founder and the Executive Director of the festival. She's down-to-earth and kind AND a huge source of knowledge about the world of indie film in the Valley. The Valley Film Festival is going on it's 19th year!! If you haven't been to a film festival before - or a smaller, community film festival - I HIGHLY recommend you attend this festival. It's so intimate. You can really rub elbows with the filmmakers and other festival goers. And if you're a filmmaker, I also highly recommend you enter your film into this festival. It's a safe, artist-focused festival in the heart of the filmmaking industry, North Hollywood. You never know who may attend your film screening or who you may bump into at a mixer. Go for it! Tracey will help you get through it and in the end, it will be a totally positive experience.
