Ann Toebbe is an american contemporary artist born in 1974. Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions at key galleries and museums, including the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago . the Saatchi Gallery, Steven Zevitas Gallery (represented), Monya Rowe Gallery, and Tibor de Nagy Gallery (represented). Ann Toebbe has been featured in articles in Artforum, The New York Times, NY Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Chicago Tribune, Art in America and Hyperallergic among others. Her recent solo exhibition, Friends and Rentals, was reviewed by Jerry Saltz in NY Magazine and her painting "Friend:Jana" has a spread in Harper Magazine's October Issue. Her solo show Swing State is currently on view in The Heimbold Visual Arts Center at Sarah Lawrence College.
