The brewery is in the old market town of Witney, in the heart of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. Brewing has taken place in Witney for centuries. 1990 officially named Wychwood
Wychwood took over the brewing of the newly acquired Brakspear beers in October 2002
Owned by marstons bought in 2008 (who own banks's, Ringwood, lancaster bomber, wainwright, bombardier, estrella damn).
