Your health cannot be separated from what you eat. Therefore, what you eat can sabotage the level of success you will have in the United States of America. There is a basic mathematical calculation that many people have a lot of difficulties resolving.


Weight Gain = Calories eaten - Calories used


This formula describes what happens to a majority of the population. Under normal circumstances and everything being equal, if you take in more calories than you use, you are going to gain weight. This weight gain is from the conversion of the excess calories and storing it as fat. Your body thinks taking in extra calories is an indication that you are preparing for a period of starvation, so the body must store this excess energy for you to use when the lean times come.
