Dr. Ledermann is a professor of medical oncology at UCL Cancer Institute specializing in the treatment and research of gynecological malignancies. He has been the Director of the Cancer Research UK and UCL Cancer Trials Centre for over 20 years and has led several national and international trials on the treatment of ovarian cancer. He has had a key role in developing trials of PARP inhibitors in ovarian cancer. Dr. Ledermann is a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences and Senior Investigator for the National Institute of Health Research in the UK.
