#025: Ok, ok… I know that this seems dull at first glance. After all, budgets are not typically the part of the creative process that gets you leaping out of bed in the morning and running out the door to go shoot.

But, it is the part of the creative process that can mean being able to shoot at all.

When it comes to photography projects, budgets are essential – and not just for funding your work. They also allow you to see your project clearly, uncover tasks you'll need to do to hit your goal, and even allow you to talk about your project more eloquently with potential funders.

Kind of magical, right? Most definitely.

But I know that the very idea of building a budget can feel like a sticking point. So I'm making it as easy on you as possible. I made you a template!  It takes a lot of the legwork out of even beginning this task.
