The new feature-length documentary, SchoolHouse Rocked examines the growth of homeschooling and why thousands of families across the country are choosing this path for their children’s education. Based on the work of Yvette Hampton, her husband Garritt, a movie industry veteran, and their two daughters as they cross the country interviewing the leaders of this incredible movement. There were 2.5 million homeschool students in 2019, now it is up to 3.7 million. Homeschooled students typically score 15 to 30% points above public school students on standardized academic achievement tests.
