Steve saw the mission field through the eyes of Richard Wurmbrand, his employer. Wurmbrand had been jailed and tortured for years in Communist Romania for preaching the gospel and when finally set free, he started Voice of the Martyrs. Steve went on many trips with Richard and his wife and witnessed the persecution faced by brave men and women who stood for the gospel.

Now Steve wants to help the missions that reach out to the lost around the world. And by creating films that can be used in the language of the people being reached, they can hear the good news. Pilgrim’s Progress is the first and is already set to air on Christian Satellite TV for Easter in Iran as well as the Philippines and Turkey.

STEVE CLEARY

Steve started his missionary work with Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) in 1989.  Soon he found himself traveling with VOM founders Richard and Sabrina Wurmbrand. He still contracts for them and has traveled around the world, including, Cuba, Sudan, Iraq and ISIS occupation.

In 2015 he joined with Robert Fernandez to build an animation studio to create films for the mission field. Steve launched Revelation Media in 2017 to produce quality and culturally engaging media for the global mission’s community. His projects include:  Pilgrim’s Progress, Tortured for Christ and The Animated Bible Series.
