We truly hope when you need a lawyer you find someone you trust and with whom you feel comfortable. If not, we’re talking with General Council of the Mississippi Bar, Adam Kilgore. We’ll learn about fee disputes and take your questions.

Currently, the University of Mississippi School of Law and Mississippi College School of Law are the only law schools in the state.

There are currently 9 online / residential programs approved by the American Bar Association for a gaining a Juris Doctor degree.

With law schools increasingly expanding into online instruction, the ABA has begun to issue waivers to hybrid programs–those that mix traditional campus learning with online courses–so they can apply for accreditation. With trained faculty and significant technological investment, distance learning proponents even argue that law degree programs can be completed exclusively online.

If you need to remember one thing from In Legal Terms, I think it should be the website for the Mississippi Bar. The address has pro bono resources, a lawyer directory, and suggestions on how to select a lawyer. That website is msbar.org
