Living the Christian life in this world as it is doesn't necessarily mean it will be comfortable, convenient, or calm. God uses suffering in the lives of His children for good as part of the sanctifying and maturing process of spiritual growth. This suffering may be because of being a believer in forms and measures of persecution. This suffering may be more general as suffering that all people go through because of living in a fallen world. God has His perfect plan of restoration for all of creation as the future home for His children who He has given new birth and are in the growth and transformation period of time as He prepares us for the glory to come. Remembering that in these days will not only keep the believer calm but hopeful and rejoicing through each day as they come.
