When the reality of the consequences of sin gets glossed over or pushed into the background the the salvation God provides loses its significance and importance. In the immediate circumstance sin not dealt with grows worse in power and perversion of the life of the sinner. The unbeliever knows nothing different and will continue along in their life in the darkness making their way along the treacherous path with the dangers not seen for what they are. God has intervened with the Light of the world for those who will come to the light and find deliverance. The angelic realm of God's creation has no provision of salvation for those who rebelled and will join the devil whom they chose to follow in the final destiny of hell.
