In Times of Suffering - a podcast by Gil Rugh

If life is brief then so to is the suffering that occurs in this life. Remembering that God is eternal and sovereign over all the times, circumstances, and details of life is the truth to bring to mind in response to such times. Biblical counsel learned from the inspired pen of the psalmist as he wrote having experienced the challenge of his trial is timeless in its application for God's people. -In times of suffering we must guard our tongue and remember that first and foremost we need to talk to the Lord. We must remember this life is brief and our hope is in the Lord and His promises. We must recognize His sovereign hand in having caused our suffering and it is likewise only His hand who can remove it. We must seek mercy from Him and trust His perfect will do do what is right and good and best.
