The spiritual gifts given by God to believers are to be governed and motivated by the love for one another that is generated by the indwelling Spirit of God. This love will be sincere, active, respectful and engaged in doing what is needful and best for others. This necessarily means knowing what is needful by being involved in the body life of the church.
