The believer is to be living under the influence of the Holy Spirit, separating from the deeds, ways, and patterns of the old life and the ambitions of life driven by sin, self, and the world. Living to please God is the new goal of life that is an ongoing learning curve being put into practice as the believer matures through the ministry of the Word of God by the Spirit of God.
