World activity, in general, exposes the heart of mankind as being in rebellion against our Creator with an animosity that provokes the overt rage in action. Reasons and excuses for behavior do not make wrong any less wrong nor sin any less accountable for. People make choices and will answer to God for them, one by one. Those who have come to repent of their sin without making excuses but accepting responsibility find peace with God and will seek to live in peace with one another. That also means there will be a marked difference in the attitude and actions of the believer who while still living in the world will not be conformed to it. Having received the mercy of God in forgiveness and new life will also be evidenced in life as those being conformed to the character of Christ will be merciful, showing kindness and love without respect of person while not condoning or capitulating with the sinfulness of those who are not living at peace with God.
