The word of God stands unchanged and unchanging. Departures from faithfulness to the Word are evident by understanding the principles of interpretation and the application of those principles consistently from Genesis to Revelation. -A danger in the church is when those who are mere professors of salvation without the Holy Spirit's ministry in and through the Word begin to find fault and inadequacies with the Word. As they gain influence their misunderstanding, misapplication, and mistaken view of the Scriptures can cast confusion and corruption on the Word for those who are believers. Knowing the Word is of the utmost importance and the personal responsibility of every believer and that becomes all the more critical a need in the times at hand.
