David as the psalmist writes giving God the glory for Him having delivered him from past trials while yet in the midst of more. He is committed to doing God's will because of who God is, testifying to His greatness. His relationship with the Lord while personal is not private nor is any believer's to be. A life wholeheartedly devoted to God will be an open declaration of the delight that floods the soul because God is the faithful and unchanging One upon whom life is built and stands. David also declares his confidence in God delivering him from what were his present circumstances of concern on the basis of His promises to David. In anticipation David waited with faith the is prayerful and patient in trusting the Lord to hear and answer in His perfect time and in His perfect way.
