The Land and the Man Joshua - a podcast by Gil Rugh

The land is a key issue for the nation of Israel and one of the promises made to them by God in the Abrahamic Covenant. The promise was confirmed several times to Abraham and then to his son Isaac and to his son Jacob and then to Jacob's twelve sons. The land was given them by God as an unconditional eternal promise but their occupation of their land was conditioned by their belief in God and obedience to God. God will prove to be faithful to HIs promise as fulfillment is certain for their permanent occupation in the future time of their national belief. Taking a historical look at Israel's initial occupation of the land led by the man Joshua as they were led out of captivity in Egypt to their promised land confirms the specific land promise to the nation by God who is the creator and owner of all HIs creation and has the right to give to whom He so wills.
