Freedom of information documents are shedding more light on how the province makes decisions about black bears. The topic became a source of controversy earlier this summer, when a black bear cub was euthanized. Like Newfoundland, Saskatchewan, the Yukon and Nunavut, Nova Scotia doesn't rehabilitate orphan bears. The CBC’s Moira Donovan has been looking into this.
