BIO:  Robiwan McKennobi
If you asked Robi what yoga was 4 years ago he would not have been able to tell you. All that changed when a skydiving accident left him seeking relief for a constant irritating shoulder pain. With the pain in his shoulder disappearing, he found peace and focus in that first class in a life that was devoid of both.
His passion and curiosity with yoga exploded from the beginning and he found himself on a quest to intimately know yoga. This quest lead him to study many different schools of yoga in India, Nepal and Korea. In India he graduated from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta teacher training course at the Meenakshi ashram in Tamil Nadu. While studying ashtanga in Rishikesh, India, he volunteered at a charity school teaching yoga to children in the slums. This unexpected joy has fueled a great passion to share yoga with children as well as adults.
Upon returning to Canada and deepening his practice in the Moksha lineage of Yoga he traveled to Brazil to become certified in the Moksha School. Later furthering this training to also become certifed in Moksha flow.
Most recently he returned from teaching in Cairo for the past year to spend the summer teaching in LA before returning soon again to Egypt
