The second impeachment trial of former President Trump begins tomorrow and Boyd thinks both sides are anxious to get the trial done, but are also planning on a lot of speechifying. In a win for religious freedom, the Supreme Court lifted California's ban on indoor church services during the pandemic. Justice Neil M. Gorsuch wrote on the lifting, “Drafting narrowly tailored regulations can be difficult. But if Hollywood may host a studio audience or film a singing competition while not a single soul may enter California’s churches, synagogues, and mosques, something has gone seriously awry.” Which Boyd seriously agrees with.
