In this episode, Emilie’s guest is John T. Iman, the current elected President of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT). John discusses his involvement with ASNT, which goes back several years. He was recognized for his continued support by his induction into ASNT’s 2015 Class of Fellows. He has served as the vice chair of the Business and Finance Committee, the Director at Large on ASNT’s Board of Directors, as well as the vice chair of the Technical and Education Council from 2017 through 2019. In his conversation with Emilie, John shares his belief that he owes a major part of his professional as well as personal success to the time, support, network, and, most of all, the people within ASNT.
