In this episode, we continue our series on missionary families with Cheryl Doss. This episode addresses something all missionaries encounter — Living in a Fishbowl. As missionaries, we may look, sound or act differently than do most people where we live and work. We are visible because of our differences and because, at least initially, we are obviously foreigners and outsiders. People are naturally curious about new people and foreigners in their community. Our response to their curiosity impacts how we build relationships, set boundaries and witness for Christ. Today’s episode will look at the benefits and challenges of this visibility for missionary singles, couples and families.
