We are want to be good examples to those younger members under our charge and those who we run into on the street, in work, in school, in the n'hood.But what kind of example do we project?Are we truly desiring to reveal on The Lord Jesus Christ to them or just our good character which many are teaching today?I'm not advocating that a good character is not important, but we depart from God's teachings when we only focus on putting on a front of good character before others instead of the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ at work within us. If our character is only being changed by man/woman, then we are just fakers. We are to let God reveal what he is burning out of us, before others, not for the sake of embarassment, rather to show how his power truly transforms us. It also shows his great love and mercy, in that he saves us and takes us just as we are, but he will NOT leave us like he found us, but transforms us into his image and not our own image.All praise and honor and glory to him alone.
