When Jesus commands us not to put any bushel (the same as a covering, or lampshade, ) over his light which is now in us, as we are also to be in him, he means it. In Matthew 5:14-16, is where we are told this. We were not saved by ANY church organization, rather by The Light, who is Christ Jesus.
