Note from Sam: this was an extended 3-week trip starting in Helsinki. We traveled in first-class sleeper trains, stayed in the nicest available hotels, and at the finest restaurants. The trip could easily be done for ½, but the value is so good, I would recommend trying to do as much as you’re able to.
