Susan Wareham is the Principal of susanwareham.com, a career consultancy established in 2005 and focused on positioning, coaching and partnering with business leaders, executives and aspiring executives looking to build or grow their careers to achieve their full potential.

She also assists clients interested in getting onto their first board, transitioning to a board career, or growing their already established board career.

Susan has over 25 years’ leadership and management experience in the government, private, business and not-for profit sectors and was a board member of the 30,000 strong Australian Businesswomen’s Network for over eight years, during which she led its advocacy, governance and recruitment functions. 

She has also served on and advised many business and community-based boards, including Chambers of Commerce, education and immigration-related entities.

Susan holds tertiary qualifications in psychology, human resource management and training; a Bachelor of Psychology, an Advanced Diploma in Business and a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Policy Development.

Outside work Susan is the proud mother of an amazing son, her favourite cities are Paris and Rome and she is a semi-vegetarian (yes, there is such a thing).  Susan is an animal lover, hot weather hater, an avid meal planner and couldn’t get by without her lists and highlighter pens to stay organised.
