In this episode, Jacqui speaks with Kerry Ashbrook from Life You Choose, and then Ush and Jacqui debrief. Kerry Ashbrook is the founder of Life You Choose and is leading the Financial Movement for women. Kerry wants all women to understand the systemic issues we face and the financial reality for women in Australia. Kerry built her corporate career leading organisational transformations and developing people and teams, but her true passion is supporting women to achieve financial independence, so they can live the life they would truly choose.

 

Kerry grew up travelling around Australia, living in caravan parks and construction camps. Leaving school and living on her own in a caravan park at sixteen, Kerry went on to buy ten houses as a single woman and was the first in her family to achieve a Masters degree. Kerry has started a series of Financial Movement free events, to educate women on the stark financial realities that women still face. For Kerry it is not about money, it’s about the choices you get to make when you need it the most.
