This dynamic founding team foresaw the need for a passion-driven, well-coordinated, and concerted wide scale effort to address some of the most significant challenges facing wildlife conservation and community upliftment in the Zambesia region. The Zambesia area spans more than 1,2 million square kilometres, across 7 countries and is home to some of the globe’s most pristine biodiversity, which includes the largest remaining African elephant population on Earth and 10% of the world’s carnivore population. Habitat loss is the biggest threat to this landscape.
