He spent the 80s and 90s in and out of the Hollywood rock scene with bands like Jane’s Addiction—a scene where “you had to do heroin with just to get your foot in the door.” But the truth is, Michael’s real problems with addiction are around food. He’s the guy who would kick heroin but get caught sneaking cookies in treatment.
