I had a track coach in high school, and when it would rain he would make us go to the library and write single page biographies of track stars.  After about the second paper I began to suspect that this was pointless busy work and that he wasn't reading the bios as all.  To test this theory, I began filling my papers with nonsense and outrageous"facts,"questioning the parentage and mental stability of the athlete in question.  The results? A+ on every ridiculous paper.  Theory confirmed.

In that spirit: I was born in the backseat of a 1959 Chrysler in Havana.  My great-grandfather was in the line of succession for the Hapsburg Empire.  And finally, pickle nose-ring boxcar flounder.
