Writer and translator Mark Hackard of SouloftheEast.org and EspionageHistoryArchive.com joined me for this early episode of Esoteric Hollywood. JaysAnalysis of course, is no longer with Talk Network, but Alternate Current Radio. In this episode we cover World War 2 films, as well as Cold War classics and some of Hollywood’s campy, crappier B films like Red Scorpion. Mark and I delve into his translation work and how many spy films actually come very close to being reality!
