:: ::

In this fascinating conversation, Dr Mark Kirchhof joins Kirk Barber to discuss his article. "Hidradenitis Suppurativa From a Patient Perspective Including Symptoms and Self-Treatment," from the Nov-Dec issue of the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery.

They talk about how this chronic inflammatory disorder commonly affecting body folds can significantly impair quality of life due to the physical, psychological, and social turmoil experienced by patients. The patient perspective is revealed through a detailed study carried out by Dr Kirchhof and his co-author, Dr Christina Huang.
