October 1st 2020 was the DAY! I took three trips in the pattern, all alone…and IT. WAS. AMAZING. In this post I am answering the common first solo questions. How many hours did it take you to solo? I was 28 hours into my official training program when I soloed. I say official because I was lucky enough to have lessons with friends before I started official flight school, so my logbook actual was 40 hours. Why bring up the hours?
