Hey everybody, it’s a new day and with it a brand spankin’ new episode of Jigs And Bigs for ya! What’s Jigs and Bigs all about, it is an entertaining spin on fishing content that is all about spurring discussion and learning. We share info but do it in a format that’s similar to a fun morning radio show style. We are of course found on all of the podcast platforms where you’d expect to find us, like Apple Podcasts, Spotify and many more!

This week’s episode is a great one! Right off the top, we have started including our JIGHEADS (Patreon members) during the recording of select segments. They’ve got access to see us on a private stream and to comment and engage with us to be part of the show. We loved this additional twist! We share some info about a fundraiser to help out a local police officer that was in a terrible accident. Big shout out to @trailbreaker_747 for passing along the information to us! We then cover the first annual Ice Fishing Derby on Quabog Pond hosted by @oldgloryoutdoors where @shawnthefisherman played the roll of roving reporter getting some info from Anglers out there catching em through the hard water. Clips of this will feature on a special episode TBA. We couldn’t avoid talking about the super bowl and most importantly what we were eating. Let’s face it, for us that’s what really matters! 😂

In our interview segment this week I’m truly overjoyed that we had the chance to talk with Rachel Walka aka @rjw_mymarineworld right here on IG. We talk about how she discovered her passion for the water and for fishing. We talk a bit about how she’s looming forward to her first online tournaments with @slaynation and share some other great stories.
