Roger Beckett is executive director of the Ashbrook Center at Ashland University. He joined the Ashbrook Center staff in 1997 and assumed his current post in 2013. Beckett has been pivotal in growing the center into a national leader in offering civic education programs for students and teachers. He led the effort to create Ashbrook's Master of Arts degree in American History and Government, both online and at Ashland University, as well as online continuing education classes, and webinars for middle and high school history teachers to strengthen their understanding of America's Founding. In this speech, Beckett discusses "Rediscovering America Through Original Historical Documents."
