This week I am revisiting my conversation with Amy Lang from the Sex Ed for Parents of Teens Mini Summit in the spring of 2020.

Amy has been a guest on the podcast and is a super great friend of mine. She is my go to person when I have questions about my teen’s sexual development.

Amy has been a sex health educator for over 20 years and helps parents of all beliefs talk with their kids of any age about the birds and bees.

She is the author of an award-winning book, Birds and Bees and your kids- a guide to sharing your beliefs about sexuality, love, and relationship. As well as Dating Smarts- what every teen needs to know to date, relate, or wait.

Teaching Parenting The Positive Discipline Way is a 6 session online workshop designed to support participants in learning all they need to teach the Parenting the Positive Discipline Way curriculum.

Developed by Lynn Lott and Jane Nelsen, this program provides a step-by-step approach to starting and leading experientially based parenting groups and classes. This curriculum can stand alone or can offer significant enhancement to other parenting programs; it emphasizes experiential activities that reach the heart to inspire deeper understanding and change.

The six sessions start Monday, August 23rd and run Mondays and Wednesdays for three weeks from 5-7:30pm PDT
