One of the greatest musicians of Brazil`s new generation, the bass player, guitarist, producer and composer Frederico Heliodoro has been standing out in the current Brazilian and international music scene since 2007. Considered one of the most productive artists of his peer group, the bassist has five original records and is in the process to record his sixth one, to be released in 2020.    Wherever he goes, Heliodoro captivates the audience with his music which is intense, virtuous, experimental and loaded with feeling, mixing his Brazilian nature with jazz and contemporary music.

At 32 years of age, Frederico has already won reputed awards as Best Musician and Best Composer. Self-taught musician, he started to learn the bass guitar at the age of 9. At 11 he was already putting up live performances. In 2008 he enrolled in course of Popular Music in Federal University of Minas Gerais. In 2010, he spent 3 months in New York City, where he did some research on the upright bass in jazz music.

Currently, Frederico is the bass player of Kurt Rosenwinkel`s Caipi Band, with who he has been touring all over the world releasing Kurt`s new CD, Caipi. He also collaborates with the guitar player and composer Pedro Martins in his new record Vox.
